FAQ(Frequently Asked Questions)

Why does it take so long to get my trophy back?
This is the #1 problem with many studios across the country.  All we can say is we will assure you our completion date will be on schedule with the date you were given.  Our typical turnaround time is 8-10 months from when we receive your trophy.  We have a strong work ethic here and we understand you don't like excuses.

Why does it cost so much to get my trophy mounted?

There are many answers to that question.  Quality mounts start with quality products and quality products cost more.  Quality workers also cost more to retain and we understand what it takes to key our key people to continue the service our customers expect.
If cost is a concern, we highly recommend spending the most on your mount to insure a quality product.  If you need, keep the cost down by having a simple habitat base that could always be changed at a later date.
You spend thousands on your adventures, many of which are once in-a-lifetime.  You pack the best in artillery and gear, don't end the adventure with an inferior mount.  I don't see many people packing Grandpa's old rifle around to take that trophy so you shouldn't be using his outdated taxidermy methods either.

How do I take care of my trophy in the field?
Depending on the species, the skinning options are Ventral skin or Dorsal skin.  For sheep and goat we prefer a Dorsal incision.  For most other species, a Ventral incision is the best way to skin.  Mountain lions are Ventral only.  Contact us before your adventure and we will discuss your options ahead of time.

How do I decide on a position to mount my trophy?
Well, this is an important decision and we understand the difficulty.  We can help with suggestions for the best way to display your trophy, but ultimately it is still your choice.  This is a good dilemma to have!

What can you do with my existing mounts?
We can incorporate your current trophy mounts into a custom diorama.  If not, we can also construct new habitats to bring those mounts up to date.

How will I get my trophy/trophies delivered to my home?
If you are in the Midwest area, we can deliver for you.  If you are anywhere else regionally, we can deliver when we have enough to fill a trailer to keep costs down.  If you want your finished mounts sooner, we can crate and ship to you.
